How We Actually Play

No 40-page rulebooks dropped on the table cold. No "just watch a 90-minute YouTube video." Here's the real approach.

1. We teach at the table

Jeff (or whoever is hosting) runs a short, clear teach. Core loop first. Edge cases later. You learn by playing the first round with training wheels if needed.

2. Player count & length matter

Every game listed here will eventually have honest notes: best player count, real playtime (not box time), complexity, and whether it rewards aggression, negotiation, or pure luck-punching.

3. No one gets left behind

If you're new, say so. We don't punish learning curves. If you're a rules lawyer, keep it constructive. The goal is more good games, not ego points.

This page will grow into a proper library of game overviews as we lock in the collection and the nights. For now the principle is simple: clear teaching, honest expectations, and zero shame for asking "wait, what does that do?"
